Birthday Book Club encourages students to purchase a book on their birthday and donate it to the Cedar Valley Library.  The child may donate his or her favorite book or ask the librarian for ideas.  Stickers are placed inside the book noting who donated the book and the date.  The child's name is also posted on a bulletin board in the hall outside the library.  In the past, students who  donated a book were invited to a cupcake party at the end of the year. This recognition event is chosen and organized by those on the committee.
