                     Fundraising     bs00005a.gif (2466 bytes)

piggy.gif (1046 bytes)Most elementary schools have a fall and a spring fundraiser, but Cedar Valley PTA  offers only one fundraiser in the fall.  We do this because we know how many requests parents get for supporting the school and the PTA and we don't want to overextend them.  Because of this, we depend on the fall fundraiser for most of what we do throughout the year.

piggy.gif (1046 bytes)The chairperson is responsible for determining what company provides the best products of interest to families and in coordination with the Board of Directors chooses the company for the fundraiser. Volunteers assist the chairperson in getting out the catalogs to students, reviewing orders and processing money, and then receiving the filled orders and getting them back out to the students.  This is usually a big job and several volunteers are needed.

 Current Chairperson:  Tanya Burgess
