Studies show that children whose parents are involved in education are more motivated in school. Motivated students are more likely to participate in class, more likely to complete homework, and more likely to achieve academically. In short, motivated children become students with good chances for bright futures.

Membership in the PTA also gives you a voice in what activities and programs Cedar Valley students are offered. Our students need and deserve all the help and support we can give them as they develop into successful, contributing members of society.

PTA members have a voice in the issues that affect all children, and families. By becoming a member of the Cedar Valley PTA, you also become a member of the Washington State PTA and the National PTA. This is important because at all levels of PTA, it is our goal to speak and advocate on behalf of our children, and families in our schools and in our community.
