                          Reading Olympics

Reading Olympics is a program that encourages students to improve their reading skills by rewarding their reading done at home. Students turn in reading sheets and receive prizes as they reach each level. There is a pizza party in June for students who have reached  2500 minutes, as well as special awards for top readers.

Volunteers are responsible for picking up reading sheets, tracking progress and keeping the bulletin board  updated .  There are usually 2 volunteers for these tasks. Another volunteer is needed to get prizes and certificates out to students.
