                                Room parents plan 3 parties per year.

mag_sundae_thumb.gif (2130 bytes)Room Parents are involved in calling parents to request donations, planning the activity for the party and discussing the ideas with the teacher.  Ideally there would also be 2-3 people to be present at the party to pass out treats and supervise the activity.
mag_sundae_thumb.gif (2130 bytes)Room Parents also coordinate donations for the classroom basket that is donated to the Silent Auction during the Carnival. This takes place in the month of May.
mag_sundae_thumb.gif (2130 bytes)Room Parent Chairperson:  Oversees the room parents.  Makes calls to the room parents in the month prior to the party to remind them to start planning and assists with questions and ideas.
